Position Overview: As a Shift Leader at Moe's Southwest Grill, you will play a vital role in the restaurant's success by overseeing daily operations. This position involves taking charge in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager while upholding our high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. You will address team member, supplier, and guest issues directly, escalating them to upper management when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff during assigned shifts to ensure effective operations.
- Foster a positive environment for both guests and team members.
- Manage front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) responsibilities to control labor and costs as directed by management.
- Monitor service speed to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Ensure daily operations adhere to company standards regarding product quality and cleanliness.
- Support ongoing training for team members, including onboarding new hires and reinforcing existing staff training.
- Promote adherence to uniform policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Open and close the restaurant in the absence of senior management.
Other duties may be assigned by management as necessary.
Job Type: Hourly
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
This position is within a franchised Moe’s Southwest Grill location.
