The Role: As a Shift Leader at MAD Greens, you will be enthusiastic about providing guests with an unparalleled hospitality experience. You will be responsible for overseeing the restaurant's operations during your shifts, including opening and closing procedures. Supporting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing our fun, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the restaurant effectively in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
- Monitor and assist in the training and development of new and existing team members, ensuring adherence to MAD Greens operational policies and safety protocols.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members while following up to ensure successful execution.
- Welcome guests warmly to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Assist in food preparation, utilizing various kitchen equipment safely.
- Regularly check food quality and temperatures to ensure freshness and safety.
- Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, following proper opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure team members accurately take guest orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of our brand and menu offerings.
- Effectively address guest concerns and complaints, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Guide the team in preparing the restaurant for each shift.
- Act with integrity and honesty in all operations.
