We are excited to welcome experienced Maintenance Engineers to our dynamic Maintenance Team at our production facility in Sittingbourne.
Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias? If so, we want to hear from you!
Your Mission:
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of our production processes by minimizing downtime through effective fault diagnosis and equipment maintenance. You will engage with a variety of systems, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
As part of your role, you will conduct a range of planned and reactive engineering tasks on-site. This position requires a commitment of 42 hours per week, operating on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts from 6 am to 6 pm.
Essential Skills:
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3, 18th Edition or equivalent preferred)
- Strong understanding of current environmental and health and safety regulations
- Hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving
- Experience with electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance
- Ability to analyze maintenance issues and provide accurate plant condition assessments
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with operatives and team leaders in both maintenance and production
- Knowledge of PLC and VSD is a plus
- Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics is advantageous
