Operate and maintain deposition systems, including physical vapor deposition (PVD) for precise thin film applications.Manage wet and dry etching processes to enhance existing methodologies and develop new techniques.Optimize deposition recipes by adjusting variables such as temperature, pressure, gas flow rates, and precursor delivery for desired film characteristics.Utilize in-situ sensors and metrology tools such as 3D profilometers and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) to monitor process performance and control contamination.Troubleshoot equipment issues, investigate process variations, and engage in root cause analysis to mitigate defects and improve deposition rates.Work alongside process integration, lithography, and etching teams to validate new materials and incorporate deposition steps into overall device fabrication.Document process data and prepare reports on critical metrics while contributing to design of experiments (DOE) for process improvements.Assist with tool installations, preventive maintenance, and qualification testing to support high-volume production.
