Join our dynamic team as a Project Scheduler at BEUMER Group, where your expertise will play a vital role in supporting complex airport construction and infrastructure projects. We are looking for a meticulous and experienced individual responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules while effectively coordinating technical, design, and integration aspects to ensure successful project completion within stipulated timelines.
This position demands a deep understanding of airport construction and operations, coupled with strong technical coordination and schedule-driven project controls, all within a dynamic stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Development & Planning
- Create and manage detailed project schedules utilizing Oracle Primavera P6.
- Draft comprehensive schedule narratives.
- Establish project baselines, compile schedules based on a work breakdown structure (WBS), contractual milestones, and defined critical paths. Prepare resource-loaded schedules that align with the objectives of the Project Manager and the airport project.
- Oversee and evaluate subcontractor and intercompany schedules to ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
- Plan and schedule testing, commissioning, simulations, and system integration activities to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Assist in stage gate management processes for project managers.
Monitoring, Reporting & Controls
- Regularly update project progress, identifying schedule variances, delays, and risks as per contract requirements.
- Document and assess project delays and their impacts.
- Conduct site visits and prepare monthly reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate schedule impacts and analyze time and cost implications of significant decisions.
- Support forensic schedule analysis and claims documentation when necessary.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate collaboration between project managers, engineers, technical teams, procurement, subcontractors, airport authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Identify and monitor critical interfaces among technical disciplines.
- Lead periodic schedule review meetings, ensuring clear communication of progress, changes, and risks.
Technical & Requirements Integration
- Assist in gathering, mapping, and tracking technical and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate design, construction, and operational interfaces specific to airport environments.
- Ensure that integration activities adhere to project schedule milestones.
Cost, Resource & Procurement Coordination
- Collaborate with project management to oversee cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Analyze resource needs and facilitate effective allocation of personnel and materials.
