JOB DESCRIPTION: SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: Minimum of 6 months
Hours: 5-10 hours per week

Are you a creative individual eager to make an impact in the field of public health? The National Health Foundation is looking for a passionate Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in showcasing our initiatives in food justice and community empowerment through engaging digital content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation: Craft visually appealing graphics, reels, and videos for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
- Storytelling: Conduct interviews with staff, community members, or program participants to develop compelling 'impact stories' that illustrate NHF’s mission.
- Campaign Support: Collaborate in the planning and execution of digital campaigns for events such as Giving Tuesday and National Public Health Week.
- Community Engagement: Actively monitor social channels, respond to comments and direct messages, and engage with partner organizations to expand NHF’s online community.
- Analytics: Analyze and report monthly engagement metrics to refine our digital strategy.
- Trends & Research: Stay updated on social media trends and health equity news to ensure NHF’s content remains relevant and impactful.
