Job Overview:
We are searching for a dynamic and innovative Social Media Manager to take charge of our social media initiatives across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. This role is more than just content posting; you will be expected to design and implement a strategic content calendar, craft engaging captions, spot trends early, and boost our reach, engagement, and conversions through original and impactful content.
In collaboration with the founders and brand team, you will leverage existing materials (educational content, products, recipes, emails, videos, and research) into compelling social media posts while also contributing fresh and creative ideas. Key Responsibilities:
Content Development & Strategy
- Manage the social media content calendar across all platforms.
- Plan, schedule, and post engaging content daily.
- Develop tailored strategies for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (both short and long-form), and Facebook.
- Transform brand objectives into actionable content pillars (education, community, conversion, storytelling, trends).
- Identify and experiment with trends, formats, hooks, and opportunities for growth.
- Consider seasonal and cultural factors in content planning.
Content Creation
- Compose captivating, on-brand captions that encourage saves, shares, clicks, and conversions.
- Produce original content using:
- Existing brand materials (videos, photos, graphics, emails, blogs, recipes).
- Innovative concepts (hooks, scripts, carousel ideas, trend adaptations).
- Collaborate on Reels, TikToks, carousels, stories, and YouTube videos.
- Participate in ideating and producing user-generated content (UGC) and community-driven initiatives.
Growth & Optimization
- Apply best practices for social media growth across various platforms.
- Utilize data and insights to refine and enhance content strategies monthly.
- Monitor performance metrics and identify trends: what resonates, what doesn’t, and why.
- Optimize posting frequency, hooks, calls-to-action, captions, and formats.
- Assist in managing and optimizing tools like ManyChat for direct message automation and conversion funnels.
Community Engagement & Brand Visibility
- Uphold a consistent, approachable, and intelligent brand voice.
- Engage with the community through comments, direct messages, and stories.
- Collaborate with team members on product launches, campaigns, and promotional activities.
Success Metrics
- Regular, high-quality content posting across all platforms.
- A well-defined, strategic content calendar aligned with brand objectives.
