As an Apprentice, you will immerse yourself in the construction industry, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in a nurturing environment. Your daily responsibilities will include assisting the Social Value team in various community engagement initiatives, as well as coordinating local employment and training opportunities. Key tasks will involve:
- Facilitating work experience opportunities in accordance with client commitments
- Engaging with schools through careers events and employment workshops
- Compiling case studies for the marketing team
- Promoting apprenticeship opportunities in collaboration with HR and clients/sub-contractors
- Updating internal promotional boards to disseminate community activity information
- Managing an internal calendar of events
- Generating documents such as monthly reports and quarterly newsletters
- Assisting colleagues in planning and executing community events and initiatives
As part of your apprenticeship journey, you will enroll in the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability qualification through one of our esteemed training partners. Our comprehensive support system includes remote classroom sessions, diverse learning materials, and personalized guidance from your tutor or coach, who will regularly meet with you and your line manager to track your progress.
