Within this framework, our Fraud Engineering team plays a crucial role in identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities within our platform. We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a background in anti-fraud and abuse to help design and develop our next-generation fraud detection systems.
Your Responsibilities
Architect and implement sophisticated systems for fraud detection and remediation, balancing factors such as fraud loss, implementation costs, and user experience.
Collaborate closely with finance, security, product, research, and trust & safety teams to devise a comprehensive strategy against fraudulent and abusive activities.
Stay informed about the latest trends and tools to outpace determined adversaries in the fraud landscape.
Leverage GPT-5 and future advancements to enhance our capabilities in combating fraud and abuse.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on backend and data systems.
At least 2 years of experience in fraud analysis, investigation, or operational roles.
Ability to navigate our codebase, understand its functionalities, and propose enhancements that strengthen our engineering practices.
A strong desire for continuous learning and the ability to effectively communicate insights to colleagues.
Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to rapid changes, viewing them as opportunities to introduce order and structure.
Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques is a plus, but not mandatory.
Our Technological Ecosystem
Our infrastructure leverages Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, Python, Postgres, and Kafka. While experience with these technologies is beneficial, we are open to candidates eager to learn and grow with us.
