Your Role
As a Software Engineer within the Trust and Risk, Fraud, and Integrity teams, you will play a pivotal role in developing systems designed to establish clear expectations, promote appropriate behavior, and resolve issues effectively. By merging proactive detection with transparent enforcement, you will help maintain Whatnot as a safe and reliable platform for both buyers and sellers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Policy Enforcement and Dispute Resolution: Creating systems that clearly communicate behavioral expectations, identify and address policy breaches, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
Reusable, High-Performance Platforms: Designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure that supports internal operations, both automated and manual actioning systems, and advanced detection capabilities.
Intelligent Detection and Prevention: Utilizing machine learning, behavioral analysis, and real-time interventions to counteract evolving abuse patterns and safeguard both buyers and sellers.
Continuous Improvement: Implementing feedback loops and monitoring systems as managed assets for ongoing quality assurance and enhancement of algorithms, methodologies, and operational processes.
