As a Sourcer & Talent Insights Specialist within our Research & Development (R&D) function, you will spearhead innovative sourcing strategies for pivotal roles and drive the execution of external talent insights and market intelligence initiatives. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping our hiring and talent attraction methodologies. Acting as a strategic advisor, you will utilize advanced talent intelligence tools and data analysis techniques to provide actionable insights that enhance our talent strategy and foster future capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the creation and presentation of detailed external talent insights to support recruitment planning and inform R&D talent strategies.
- Execute complex talent mapping projects, delivering insights into the availability of external talent and identifying opportunities for attracting top candidates.
- Provide strategic sourcing assistance for critical open roles, acting as a sourcing leader and insights expert while utilizing data analysis methods to offer recommendations to business leaders, recruiters, and HR teams.
- Establish the vision, strategy, and objectives for proactive sourcing efforts across aligned R&D functions.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to proactively build talent pipelines in anticipation of potential vacancies, targeting high-level talent in competitive markets.
- Develop deep expertise in relevant areas, understanding and articulating the functions, culture, and responsibilities of roles to effectively communicate AbbVie’s Employee Value Proposition.
- Utilize advanced search techniques, including Boolean searches on social media, LinkedIn, SeekOut, and industry directories, to uncover high-quality talent.
- Facilitate thorough candidate pre-screening and present qualified candidates to hiring managers and recruitment teams while ensuring data accuracy and integrity across Talent Acquisition platforms.
- Engage with potential candidates by nurturing professional pipelines as new roles are introduced, sharing information about exciting opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and reports on key roles and sourcing activities to stakeholders.
- Build strong partnerships with recruiters and candidates to maintain a robust candidate pool that meets current and anticipated business needs.
- Establish trust and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, total rewards, talent development, and HR teams, to understand key roles and address challenges in securing top talent.
