- Effectively coach, support, and develop team members to enhance their culinary skills.
- Communicate all company and brand updates to the kitchen staff.
- Encourage open feedback and celebrate successes to maintain team morale.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards regarding food safety, health & safety, fire, and security for both guests and staff.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to review departmental performance using external audits and stock results.
- Maintain precise records and documentation related to food safety and compliance.
- Understand budgetary constraints and apply effective cost management strategies to enhance performance while preserving guest experience and food quality.
- Maximize the profitability of all revenue streams, including the restaurant, bar, and event functions.
Guest Engagement
- Monitor food complaints, taking prompt action to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Engage with social media feedback alongside the kitchen team, implementing changes based on constructive input.
- Build rapport with guests, anticipating their needs and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Perform opening and closing procedures at designated times.
