Sous Chef - Kos

Role Purpose
As a Sous Chef, you will support the hotel in all tasks related to the smooth operation of the department, maintaining high service standards, monitoring hygiene and safety regulations, and achieving the hotel’s objectives.
Responsibilities
- Participate in organizing and coordinating the daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage departments (shift scheduling, operational plans, cleanliness, reservations).
- Monitor guest satisfaction, emphasizing service improvement and development, responding promptly and professionally to any requests.
- Oversee the operational budget of the department.
- Ensure cleanliness standards in the restaurant area (cleaning plans).
- Actively participate in the recruitment process for hotel positions in line with company policy and group values.
- Guide and train staff based on high-quality standards.
- Supervise adherence to ISO documents and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations in food and beverage departments.
- Oversee the operation of PDAs and coordinate their distribution to waitstaff.
- Manage orders, receipts, and inventory of supplies and consumables for the department.
- Check the reservation system and issue reservation lists.
