Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for patients facing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges arising from various conditions, including surgery, stroke, injury, congenital disorders, or developmental delays.
- Implement individualized therapy programs aimed at restoring reliable communication and cognitive function while educating patients and caregivers on effective strategies.
- Primarily work in an outpatient setting, providing care with minimal inpatient responsibilities.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes promptly to optimize therapy reimbursement.
- Facilitate open communication with healthcare teams, patients, and families, ensuring confidentiality and respect for all individuals involved.
- Adhere to ethical standards, laws, and regulations relevant to speech therapy practices.
This full-time position emphasizes pediatric outpatient care, with MBSS/IP coverage required.
