ABOUT THE TEAM
Our Reliability & System Safety Engineering organization is on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Systems Safety Engineer to bolster our Air Dominance & Strike team. This team collaborates closely with our extensive Engineering division to guarantee that our products not only meet safety standards but also fulfill all mission performance metrics, environmental conditions, and customer expectations. We are committed to developing innovative Reliability & System Safety processes that secure our long-term commercial success.
As a Senior Systems Safety Engineer, you will utilize your in-depth knowledge of advanced Reliability & System Safety methodologies to enhance our safety protocols. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Hardware & Software development teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include conducting Functional Hazard Analysis, creating Fault Trees, performing System Safety Assessments, and managing Hazard Mitigation strategies for your assigned products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and development of safety-critical aircraft systems, with hands-on experience in testing, analysis, manufacturing, and continuous improvement within a production setting.
