Your Role
As a Staff AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in generating innovative ideas, designing, and developing product features and customer solutions leveraging LLMs and other advanced AI technologies, including the necessary infrastructure. Your responsibilities will encompass leading projects and conducting independent research based on the initiatives at hand.
You will collaborate closely with leadership, product managers, and fellow software engineers across Make to deliver exceptional AI products and features to our clientele. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic decisions, ensuring our company remains at the cutting edge of AI innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of the business needs of Make's customers, translating them into concrete technical challenges and developing solutions or empowering teams to address them.
- Influence the technical vision and AI strategy of the organization.
- Create production-ready and scalable LLM-based solutions.
- Draft and review RFCs and technical documentation.
- Provide feedback and review the work of colleagues.
- Encourage professional growth in yourself and others.
- Be open to participating in an on-call rotation to address incidents affecting make.com availability.
