Position Overview
We are in search of a Staff Field Integration and Quality Engineer to spearhead the integration of drive units, batteries, inverters, displays, and various low-voltage electronics.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the introduction of new products and platforms.
- Present findings to engineering teams and leadership to foster resolution.
- Engage in hands-on troubleshooting utilizing proprietary CAN tools.
- Reproduce faults, extract logs, decode DTCs, conduct isolation tests, identify root causes (HW vs FW vs calibration vs harness), and validate fixes through structured re-testing.
- Support pilot and fleet operations: prepare vehicles for trials, commission telematics, and collaborate with field operations to ensure uptime.
- Update fleet firmware via OTA updates.
- Revise service troubleshooting manuals incorporating new insights.
- Collaborate with service partners to derive deeper understanding of field failures.
- Travel to customer sites to gain further insights into failure modes.
- Establish processes to analyze incoming telemetry data to:
- Identify trends in overall product health and reliability.
- Estimate component repairs/replacements and associated costs.
- Drive design and diagnostic improvements based on real-world data.
- Create clear data visualization tools and dashboards for telemetry data ingestion.
- Analyze field return parts to ascertain root causes using 8D methods.
- Train technicians and service professionals on service tools and new protocols.
