Role
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Federal) to enhance our Government Cloud team. This role is fully onsite in Crystal City, Virginia, and reports directly to the Manager of Site Reliability Engineering.
As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in building the world's largest cloud security platform, enabling organizations across the globe to achieve speed and agility. Your responsibilities will include upholding our security commitments by managing operations within classified environments, ensuring our multitenant architecture remains unparalleled in cloud security.
What You’ll Do (Role Expectations)
- Oversee operational activities for products within US Government classified environments, including deployments, on-call responsibilities, incident management, and participation in routine deployment syncs.
- Manage all cloud infrastructure components, including AWS, private cloud environments, containers, and VMs, to ensure optimal stability and scalability.
- Create scripts, containerized services, and monitoring tools to automate operational tasks and reduce service disruptions.
- Enhance existing services and develop new solutions within classified environments while promoting DevOps best practices throughout the organization.
