As part of Stripe’s Design team, the UX Research team collaborates across various product and marketing initiatives to deliver exceptional products and experiences that meet user needs efficiently. Our primary audience consists of builders and creators, and we are passionate about developing user-centric experiences that stand out.
In addition to leading primary research initiatives, we equip Stripes from various functions—including engineering, product management, design, marketing, and sales—with the skills necessary to apply research insights to address global challenges. In this role, you will help establish research as a core competency across Stripe and champion a user-first approach to our research efforts.
Your Role
As a Senior UX Researcher dedicated to the Payments team, you will work closely with product, engineering, analytics, marketing, and design teams to create solutions that empower our merchants to optimize payment performance. Your focus will be on balancing regulatory requirements, conversion rates, costs, and fraud prevention. You will tackle complex challenges such as understanding user preferences and needs in payment routing to enhance Stripe Orchestration and develop products that help businesses maximize payment margins.
