Join the SPLC as the State Director in Georgia!
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced State Director for our Georgia office, who is deeply committed to advancing social justice.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the State Office staff in collaboration with local networks, community partners, and allies who are intimately aware of the challenges faced in Georgia. You will also coordinate with SPLC departments including Communications, Legal, Policy, Political, and Programs to implement powerful campaigns. Your strategic vision will guide the state-based initiatives, and you will provide essential administrative oversight for our office operations.
As a results-driven advocate, your passion for safeguarding the rights of marginalized communities in the South and fostering a genuine multiracial democracy will be crucial. You will manage a talented team and work closely with the SPLC Leadership Team to ensure impactful work in Georgia and the surrounding region. Acting as a key representative for SPLC, you will build and nurture partnerships with legal, policy, and advocacy organizations, community groups, cultural leaders, and other stakeholders to empower local communities and develop collaborative strategies that dismantle oppression and promote a thriving culture for all residents.
