As a Storekeeper at Constance Le Chaland, you will play a pivotal role in managing the inventory and ensuring adherence to the hotel’s accounts policies. Your responsibilities will include:
• Familiarity with accounting procedures and Prologic program is essential.
• Implement and uphold standards and procedures set by the hotel accounts policy.
• Oversee inventory management processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Ensure proper utilization of materials and equipment within the Accounts Department.
• Assist in preparing the monthly accounts as directed by the Assistant Financial Controller.
• Execute inventory controls as per the guidelines provided by the Assistant Financial Controller.
• Provide constructive feedback to the Assistant Financial Controller or Purchase Manager to enhance store operations.
• Foster effective relationships with employees and conduct any additional assigned projects.
• Issue purchase orders based on information from the Purchase Department and coordinate with suppliers.
• Validate received goods against purchase orders and accurately enter data into the inventory system.
• Process Goods Return Notes and ensure credit notes are issued and recorded.
• Ensure store requisitions are approved by the respective Head of Department and accurately logged.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for any returned goods.
• Forward all supplier documentation to the accounts department and ensure proper filing of requisitions.
• Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies with the computer inventory system.
• Prepare all monthly reports and reconciliations prior to the commencement of a new accounting period.
• Ensure proper integration between inventory and general ledger under the supervision of the Assistant Financial Controller.
