Your Role
This position transcends a traditional Account Executive role. You will act as a strategic growth advisor while managing sales quotas. Your focus will be on the fashion, beauty, and home verticals, identifying ideal customer profiles (ICPs), diagnosing conversion challenges, prescribing impactful solutions using Checkmate's offerings, and cultivating strong partnerships with DTC growth teams to close deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish Strategic Partnerships
- Target high-growth Shopify merchants with gross merchandise value (GMV) between $10M and $500M in the fashion, beauty, and home sectors.
- Conduct thorough discovery sessions to understand growth obstacles, team priorities, and constraints.
- Present data-backed business cases highlighting projected return on ad spend (ROAS), incremental revenue, and payback timelines.
- Navigate complex decision-making committees that include Growth, Marketing, RevOps, and Finance stakeholders.
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor rather than just a vendor.

- Manage a sales quota and oversee the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
