Miro's Australian presence serves as a pivotal hub for the APAC region, with a dedicated team of 70 professionals located in Sydney, Melbourne, and Singapore. In this role, you will be a Strategic Account Executive focused on cultivating partnerships with our federal and state government clients in NSW and ACT. The Strategic Accounts Team is integral to Miro's growth strategy, collaborating with some of the largest organizations worldwide to foster innovation and transformation through visual collaboration. Our dynamic and collaborative team is dedicated to establishing Miro as a vital platform within our clients' organizations and expanding our enterprise footprint.
About Your Role
With our recent investments in Australian data residency, there is a remarkable opportunity to scale and attract new customers across the territory, driven by ongoing government investments in digital transformation and innovation. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will manage the comprehensive relationship and strategic growth of a portfolio of Miro’s state government accounts within the ANZ region. Your role will involve acting as a trusted advisor, gaining a deep understanding of your clients' business challenges and objectives. Your mission is to create significant value and foster innovation through Miro, building strong partnerships while identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for account expansion and new business development within your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategic account plans for assigned large enterprise customers, pinpointing key opportunities for both growth and new business.
- Establish and nurture robust, long-term relationships with various stakeholders (including executives) within your accounts, functioning as a trusted advisor.
- Proactively seek and engage new teams, departments, or high-value use cases within existing accounts to broaden Miro's impact and value.
- Lead intricate sales cycles for both expansion and new business opportunities, encompassing qualification, value articulation, negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to monitor customer health, promote the adoption of key use cases, and detect growth signals.
- Master Miro’s platform and solutions to effectively illustrate value, inspire innovative working methods, and respond to customer needs.
- Elevate Miro’s brand presence in state government through events and collaborations with industry bodies.
- Ensure strong business management by achieving quarterly and annual targets and maintaining accurate forecasts.
