YOUR MISSION
As the Strategic Brand Manager for the Tobacco sector in Romania, you will spearhead the commercial expansion and strategic vision of one of Glovo's most lucrative and intricate categories. Serving as the pivotal link between global tobacco brands and the Glovo platform, you will drive impactful Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and optimize brand investments through cutting-edge media and advertising initiatives. Your objective is to harmonize aggressive commercial growth with operational excellence, ensuring an exceptional user experience while adeptly navigating Romania's highly regulated tobacco market.
THE JOURNEY
Commercial Strategy & Brand Partnerships: Lead the negotiation and implementation of annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key tobacco partners (e.g., BAT) to ensure sustained growth and commitment.
Media & Ads Management: Craft and execute bespoke media strategies to amplify brand engagement and optimize advertising spend within the app.
Upselling & Monetization: Catalyze substantial revenue growth by proactively upselling Glovo's visibility assets and commercial opportunities to tobacco brands.
Demand Steering: Direct customer demand towards the most profitable and high-performing channels, balancing profit maximization with superior user experience.
Operational Excellence & Compliance:
Regulatory Alignment: Collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all activities fully comply with the evolving tobacco laws and regulations in Romania.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with Retail Account Managers to enhance POS performance at the store level and coordinate with the Tobacco Operation Specialist to address issues such as
