We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives. This position is pivotal in shaping and executing our business development strategy across various sectors including defense, renewable energy, and oil & gas.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve accelerated growth targets.
- Nurture and expand existing client relationships.
- Explore and penetrate new markets and regions to broaden our client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to purchase order confirmation.
- Track and analyze sales activities to gather actionable insights.
- Provide essential marketing support and assist in business forecasting.
- Compile business reports for the Head of Sales, detailing sales inquiries, market performance, opportunities, and monthly KPIs.
- Identify immediate, medium, and long-term opportunities within current accounts and new business prospects.
- Proactively network online and offline to generate new leads.
- Lead and manage trade shows to showcase our offerings.
- Foster strong client relationships and develop new client opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team and international partners, following up on potential leads.
- Present and demonstrate our products and services, including technical support, to potential clients.
- Analyze the market to identify gaps between client needs and competitor offerings.
- Win and finalize sales opportunities effectively.
- Partner with the Internal Sales team to ensure seamless order processing, capturing all necessary client information accurately.
- Maximize conversion rates from quotes to orders through diligent follow-up.
- Provide accurate information and quotations to customers in collaboration with the wider business.
- Input customer data promptly into our company database following inquiries.
- Deliver timely feedback on quotes during regular customer visits.
- Assess the technical and environmental requirements for customer applications.
Reporting & Training
- Contribute to training initiatives to enhance product awareness among staff.
- Uphold group management practices and equal opportunity policies.
