Role Overview:
As a pivotal member of the Confluent Sales Team, the Strategic Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for selling our solutions to high-profile, strategic clients. You will leverage your prospecting, sales, negotiation, and leadership expertise to effectively promote Confluent’s offerings, aiming to meet and surpass your quarterly sales goals. A strong focus on consumption and growth, along with a successful track record in a value-oriented sales environment, is essential.
Your Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth in large, complex, and high-visibility accounts.
Proactively identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline while fostering growth in existing customer accounts.
Lead and execute a strategic, complex sales cycle, demonstrating the value of Confluent to C-Level executives.
Become a subject matter expert on Confluent solutions, product offerings, and the competitive landscape.
Develop a profound understanding of customer strategies and objectives, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
Collaborate closely with our partner ecosystem to sell through or with partners.
Work in alignment with the Solutions Engineering team on technical successes, Professional Services for exceptional customer experiences, and Customer Success Management to identify and secure expansion opportunities and renewals.
Qualifications:
Over 10 years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles within a competitive environment, emphasizing consumption growth within accounts or territories.
Proven experience in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions.
Demonstrated success in managing complex sales processes and delivering results.
