The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Strategic Account Executive to cultivate and expand our relationships with OpenRouter’s most significant and intricate customers. This pivotal position focuses on navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise agreements, managing lengthy sales cycles, and engaging in strategic discussions about AI infrastructure with technical, financial, and executive decision-makers.
Your primary responsibility will be to utilize our initial enterprise successes to forge long-lasting, high-value partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue enterprise-level prospects across sectors such as technology, finance, healthcare, and e-commerce. Utilize platforms like LinkedIn, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and industry events to establish a strong sales pipeline.
- Relationship Building: Engage with C-suite executives, CTOs, and AI stakeholders to identify their challenges and customize OpenRouter solutions to fulfill their requirements.
- Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the complete sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, including product demonstrations, proposal preparation, and ROI evaluations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to guarantee smooth implementation and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
- Target Achievement: Meet or surpass quarterly and annual revenue goals, emphasizing multi-year contracts and upsell prospects.
- Market Awareness: Keep informed of AI trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to guide sales strategies and provide insights to the product team.
- Travel Requirements: Participate in industry conferences, client engagements, and networking opportunities (up to 30% travel may be required).
