The Substitute Assistant Principal - Building Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school. In this role, you will oversee all school functions, focusing on fostering a culture of academic excellence and support for both students and faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide coaching and development for teachers, enhancing student achievement through personalized support, feedback based on observations, goal alignment, and data-driven instruction.
Manage the interim assessment data cycles effectively.
Collaborate with the ASL of Operations to oversee the administration of assessments like DIBELS, iReady, Curricular-Based Assessments, and MAP.
Lead the school community with warmth, fostering an inviting atmosphere for students and their families.
Model respectful behavior, address student concerns with compassion, and celebrate their achievements.
Uphold safety standards within the building while nurturing a culture of growth, responsibility, and restorative practices.
Maintain open and kind communication with staff, students, and families to keep all parties informed and engaged.
Execute essential administrative tasks, prioritizing student needs in decision-making.
Attend administrative meetings before, during, and after school, and participate in professional development activities to enhance your skills.
General working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility required based on school needs.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
