This is a summer position, so we request your availability for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will provide you with a work schedule in advance, allowing you to plan your summer around both work and enjoyable activities! Whether you prefer day or night shifts, fast-paced or calm environments, Securitas has a job for you.
A role as a security guard is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with people and assisting them in their daily lives. As a guard in our Filipstad office, you will become part of a close-knit team. Shift lengths vary, often consisting of 12-hour shifts, whether during the day or at night. Weekend work is also included in the schedule.
The positions include both stationary and patrolling guards, with a primary focus on the latter, where working hours are predominantly at night. As a patrolling guard, you will be responsible for monitoring several clients during your shift. You will travel between client locations by car and perform various checks, including area surveillance, internal patrols, alarm activations, and client closures. It is essential to document your work and any discrepancies you encounter. The job is independent and is often perceived as free, but it carries significant responsibility. This role is ideal for those who prefer a position that allows for physical activity.
As a stationary guard, you will provide security on-site at one of our clients' locations. Depending on the client, your tasks may vary. You might work as a receptionist at a larger company or conduct security checks of individuals entering and exiting, perform patrols, manage alarms, and monitor cameras. Regardless of the client you are assigned to, your primary responsibility is to remain vigilant and ensure everything is in order. The work is typically independent and involves personal responsibility, often during daytime hours.
