A Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) plays an essential role in aiding organizations to implement and optimize the D365 FO ERP system, with a primary focus on supply chain operations. This position necessitates a deep understanding of business processes, functional configuration, and the capability to connect business needs with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with clients to identify and analyze their supply chain business processes and requirements. Conduct workshops and interviews to gather functional specifications.
- System Design & Configuration: Configure D365 FO modules to align with business needs related to supply chain and finance, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Implementation & Deployment: Oversee the implementation of D365 FO, manage testing processes, and coordinate deployment along with data migration efforts.
- Business Process Optimization: Recommend enhancements to existing processes leveraging D365 FO functionalities for greater efficiency.
- User Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training to end-users on D365 FO functionalities and offer ongoing support post-implementation.
- System Integration & Reporting: Facilitate the integration of D365 FO with other systems and create custom reports as required.
