Join us as a Supply Chain Manager, where you will architect, oversee, and enhance the supply chain operations pivotal to our GrabMart business. This role is dedicated to ensuring consistent product availability, optimizing warehousing and distribution, and facilitating seamless collaborations with retail partners and logistics providers.
You'll collaborate closely with suppliers, retail partners, and third-party logistics (3PL) firms, alongside our internal operations, technology, and category teams, to create a cost-effective, scalable, and customer-centric supply chain across Southeast Asia.
This position reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain at our Grab One North Office.
Your Key Responsibilities
Fulfillment & Warehousing
- Oversee distribution centers (DCs) and manage partnerships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Ensure prompt inbound processes, efficient picking/packing, and accurate dispatch.
- Continuously enhance warehouse operations through AI-driven automation and robotics to minimize lead times and errors.
Last-Mile Delivery
- Drive innovation in fleet operations, including management of our own fleet, gig riders, electric vehicles (EVs), and autonomous delivery initiatives.
- Utilize AI-powered routing and delivery models to ensure economical and reliable service.
Scalability & Partnerships
- Identify and cultivate regional joint ventures and logistics partnerships to facilitate market entry and growth.
- Develop a robust partner ecosystem encompassing 3PLs, 4PLs, and fleet operators.
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning
- Implement AI-based forecasting models to anticipate demand trends and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Aim to reduce stockouts and excess inventory, achieving a balance between customer satisfaction and working capital efficiency.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Introduce novel fulfillment strategies (e.g., dark stores, micro-fulfillment centers).
- Integrate technologies such as WMS, TMS, AI-driven demand planning, and warehouse automation.
- Strive for cost efficiencies while upholding service excellence.
Performance Metrics & Analytics
- Establish and monitor KPIs: order fill rate (OFR), on-time delivery, cost per order, and inventory turnover.
- Leverage data insights to refine supply chain designs and operations.
