Faherty Brand is on the lookout for a passionate and results-driven Manager of Talent Acquisition to spearhead our recruitment processes for both Headquarters and Retail divisions. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our talent acquisition strategy by establishing effective frameworks, refining hiring procedures, and ensuring a remarkable candidate journey at every interaction. Initially, your responsibilities will be split evenly between Retail and HQ recruitment, where you will collaborate with the People Team, Field Leadership, and Hiring Managers to create standardized hiring systems, processes, and training materials. As the Retail recruitment operations stabilize and become self-sufficient, your focus will shift primarily to HQ recruitment while still providing support for Retail needs as necessary. Your responsibilities include:
Retail Talent Acquisition (initially 50%; phased down as systems mature)
- Develop and implement standardized, bias-free interview guides and candidate scorecards for all Retail positions to guarantee consistent and inclusive hiring practices.
- Provide training and coaching to Store Leaders and Field Managers on structured interviewing techniques, emotional intelligence-based selection, and effective ATS usage (Greenhouse).
- Oversee high-volume retail recruitment during the initial phase, ensuring timely and quality hires for priority stores and markets.
- Design and execute innovative, localized sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill or competitive talent markets.
- Ensure all Retail job descriptions are precise, inclusive, and aligned with Faherty Brand’s ethos and values.
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team to create a consistent and positive onboarding experience for new store hires.
- Monitor short-term retail recruitment metrics, maintain ATS data integrity, and assess process compliance across the field.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking for market compensation, hiring standards, and leading retail talent acquisition practices.
- Gradually transfer Retail responsibilities as scalable tools, training, and processes become fully operational.
HQ Talent Acquisition (initially 50%; long-term primary focus)
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for HQ roles, ensuring a structured, efficient, and elevated candidate experience.
- Train and support Hiring Managers on Greenhouse, interview methodologies, competency-based selection, and consistent hiring practices.
