Your Role and Impact
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be instrumental in supporting approximately 30 learners in our virtual training programs. You will deliver both synchronous and asynchronous support, ensuring learners' understanding and retention of the course material.
Program Specific Information:
- Program Dates: June 15th - October 9th, 2026
- Lecture Days/Times: Wednesdays and Fridays from 19:00 - 21:30 AEST (5:00 - 7:30am ET)
Your Daily Responsibilities:
During Live Sessions:
- Participate in and actively engage in the mandatory Pre-Program TA Onboarding (dates to be announced).
- Monitor designated Slack channels (#c1-TA, #live-chat, #extra-help) for learner inquiries and respond promptly.
- Check-in with learners post-session to gauge their understanding and address any questions.
- Facilitate breakout rooms during lectures when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining session flow if the Lead Instructor encounters technical issues.
During Non-Live Days:
- Continue to engage with learners via Slack, answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
