What Will You Do?
Your primary objective is to craft a delightful shopping experience for our customers, encouraging them to return and shop with us again. You achieve this by supporting your team, ensuring they are always ready to assist customers in the best possible way. Alongside the other Team Leader for Shopping Experience, you will oversee the staff in Småland and Trolleys/Shopping tools departments. You will report directly to the Shopping Experience Manager.
About the Role
In this position, you will contribute to creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a team leader, you embody IKEA's values and foster a strong IKEA culture within the team, inspiring colleagues to achieve store goals. Your responsibilities include managing the daily operations of your team (15 to 20 employees), ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and handling the recruitment and onboarding of new team members. You will conduct performance reviews, support employees who are unwell, and coach your team as needed.
