Join our team as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Automattic, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our partners' experiences with WordPress and other Automattic products. Your mission will span from the initial onboarding of partners to the ongoing support and maintenance of their websites. You will work hand-in-hand with site owners, designers, and developers to fulfill partner requests while providing insightful feedback to our product teams for continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating the integration of WordPress and Automattic products and services among our partners.
- Collaborating closely with partners to address their requests with precision and care.
- Utilizing your technical expertise and communication skills to effectively represent Automattic.
- Working with partners to clarify website functionality requirements and managing project timelines and outcomes.
- Engaging with WordPress and WooCommerce setups, configurations, and site construction.
- Leading complex deployments or launches, including DNS configurations, domain transfers, data migrations, and integrations.
- Acting as the advocate for our customers within product teams, identifying opportunities and reporting issues.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Building strong relationships with partners to understand their operational needs and technical challenges, ensuring they derive maximum value from our solutions, particularly WordPress, WooCommerce, Jetpack, and MailPoet.
- Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues as they occur, communicating with engineers for deeper support when necessary.
- Translating partner inquiries into actionable, WordPress-focused requirements.
- Documenting clear, detailed tasks for team execution.
- Responding swiftly to critical incidents on partner sites, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Continuously exploring ways to enhance processes for increased project efficiency.
