The Opportunity
We are on a fast track to building something meaningful. As our inaugural dedicated engineering recruiter, you will not be managing a backlog of requests; instead, you will construct the foundation that fuels our entire engineering division. You will have direct access to leadership, actively participate in headcount decisions, and enjoy the creative liberty to shape the recruiting function from the ground up.

What You’ll Own
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for software engineering roles across Full Stack, Autonomy/Robotics, and Forward Deployed Engineering, requiring technical expertise and a discerning eye for talent.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders and hiring managers to thoroughly understand team needs, define role specifications, and expedite the hiring process without compromising on quality.
- Establish our recruiting framework from scratch: sourcing methods, interview protocols, scorecards, candidate experiences, offer procedures, and more.
- Act as a true talent brand ambassador, authentically representing Swarm Aero to candidates and building talent pipelines proactively.
- Foster and maintain relationships with communities where exceptional engineers thrive: open-source contributors, robotics researchers, ML practitioners, field engineers.
- Monitor and report on key recruiting metrics such as time-to-hire, pipeline health, offer acceptance rates, source quality, using data to enhance the recruiting process.
- As the company scales, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a recruiting team.
