In this pivotal role, you will analyze and address customer needs related to battery thermal interface materials, sealing, and bonding. Collaborating closely with our global battery team and local R&D, you will deliver commercially viable solutions that support our ambitious e-mobility growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of market trends and customer product cycles to prioritize customer business targets.
- Collaborate with internal account teams to deepen technical relationships with customers, ensuring their battery technology requirements are met.
- Evaluate customer technical needs and guide them toward suitable solutions that Sika can provide.
- Lead the coordination with technical departments such as Technical Services and R&D to align our solutions with customer timelines.
- Advise customers on achieving their technical and cost objectives by leveraging existing solutions or advocating for the development of new materials when necessary.
- Publish quarterly updates on the battery sales pipeline, developments in North American electric vehicles, and business outlook summaries.
Engage with global teams across Europe, China, Japan, and Korea to foster growth and benefit the North American business.
