As a Technical Service Support Specialist, you will engage in complex technical challenges that extend beyond immediate solutions. Within the Long Term Impact team, your focus will be on long-term projects that enhance our Milking portfolio, particularly the Lely Astronaut. You will ensure that service, maintenance, and operational availability are integrated into design and development decisions from the outset.
Your role will serve as the crucial link between field experience and product development. By combining insights from service data and usability, we guarantee that our solutions remain reliable, maintainable, and scalable throughout their entire lifecycle.
This position places you at the intersection of technology, service, and product development. While you won't be building products yourself, your influence will directly shape the design, enhancement, and global support of our milking robots.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Working on long-term technical and product-focused projects within the Milking portfolio, emphasizing the Lely Astronaut.
- Representing service and lifecycle perspectives within multidisciplinary product and project teams.
- Ensuring maintainability, usability, and service standards are considered in product development and innovations.
- Defining and substantiating service requirements for new solutions and product enhancements.
- Analyzing data, field feedback, and service insights to support systematic improvements.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of global maintenance and service standards.
