You will spend the majority of your week in the field—meeting clients, conducting live demonstrations, and confidently closing deals. As the face of Square in one of our most promising markets, you will be responsible for developing a pipeline from the ground up, boosting Square's visibility in your community, forming valuable partnerships, and assisting local businesses in leveraging our industry-leading software and hardware.

You will:
Lead your market with disciplined, in-person execution
- Spend approximately 80% of your week in the field—visiting local businesses and driving 50-60 targeted business interactions weekly.
- Manage a complete self-sourced sales cycle: generate leads, identify client needs, provide compelling demonstrations, and close deals utilizing Square’s comprehensive product suite.
Establish yourself as the trusted Square expert in your community
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with local merchants by being present, reliable, and focused on delivering value.
- Collaborate across departments to guarantee a smooth onboarding process and rapid value realization for new clients.
- Implement a disciplined referral strategy to transform every new client into future opportunities.
Build a high-velocity pipeline from the ground up
- Create a repeatable top-of-funnel process through door-to-door outreach, community involvement, events, networking, and strategic partnerships.
- Engage with channel partners to cultivate a consistent, high-quality referral network that expands over time.
Master your verticals and sell with precision
- Develop deep expertise in key sectors—including restaurants, retail, and services—to accurately diagnose challenges and present the best Square solutions.
