As a Territory Manager for Diablo Tools in Michigan, your primary objective will be to achieve complete market dominance in your designated categories, channels, and markets. You will employ strategic tactics to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. In this role, you will support Regional Managers and Key Market Managers by assisting with a variety of tasks including training initiatives, trade show management, and coaching fellow Territory Managers.
- Develop and implement effective sales programs and strategies for key dealers within your territory aimed at promoting and consolidating key product categories for Diablo/Freud. Plan for sustainable growth while adhering to travel and expense budgets.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, order placement, presentation development, and other duties that foster a collaborative environment focused on increasing market share and sales volume.
- Maintain consistent communication with your direct supervisor to discuss customer relations, company strategies, and revenue planning. Participate in all scheduled conference calls.
- Assist Regional Managers and Key Market Managers in developing programs and sales strategies for key dealers, participating in joint coaching calls, planning targeted training and onboarding programs, and providing on-the-job training for other Territory Managers, as well as supporting trade show management.
- Expect to travel overnight 5-6 days each month to meet customers and develop Territory Managers as assigned.
- Your territory will encompass the state of Michigan.
