*This is a remote-based Field Sales position serving the regions of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Southern New York. Candidates must reside within these territories.*
- Serve as the Territory Sales Manager for our Material Handling, Multi-Purpose Tires (MPT), Port, and OTR product lines. You will act as the account manager for dealers, target accounts, and strategic customers within your designated territory.
- Identify opportunities through customer needs assessments and an understanding of competitor offerings.
- Act as a business advisor to your target accounts, articulating the value proposition that adds value to their operations.
- Expand the customer base by selling to new end users, thereby enhancing the revenue and profitability of the Specialty Industrial Business Area (BA).
- Establish business practices that align with the profitability objectives of the Industrial BA.
- Collaboratively manage an effective pricing strategy and independently implement it for your target accounts.
- Identify potential opportunities for new product lines.
- Assist in shaping product strategy for each target account to ensure current product lines are either revitalized or phased out in line with the standard product life cycle, preventing competitors from undermining Continental Tire North America's market share.
- Conduct market research to identify target accounts and define geographic focus areas.
- Oversee the execution of strategic marketing, sales, and operational initiatives that support your identified target accounts.
- Make sales calls and conduct face-to-face meetings according to a structured call plan.
- Support the monthly Forecasting Evolution process with the Regional Manager.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets within your region.
- Engage in sales meetings, product training sessions, and trade events.
