MISSION
Lead and organize a high-performing sales effectiveness team, focusing on training, market research, and competitive intelligence within the assigned therapeutic area.
Act as a strategic partner to commercial areas by directing and contributing to the development and implementation of strategies that ensure the achievement of defined business and financial results, ensuring maximum return on investment.
Ensure alignment between the commercial needs and AbbVie's processes while adhering to global, regional, and local policies and guidelines.
Prepare the annual strategic plan and tactical plan for activities aligned with commercial partners.
Support and participate in Strategic Governance and organizational development committees.
Lead the area’s involvement in strategic programs and projects such as NNLRP, Brand Plan, and similar initiatives while connecting with regional and global areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Align training content with Medical Management and Sales Management to enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Ensure the team is coordinated and prepared to:
• Identify training and development needs for consultants and sales representatives based on strategic planning with commercial teams, field visits, and tools assessments such as knowledge evaluations and Brand Team meetings.
• Develop training plans for AbbVie’s target segments, integrating actions, making adjustments based on identified needs, and defining actions aimed at optimizing the financial resources involved.
• Implement training programs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic planning, methodologies, and outcomes achieved.
• Propose training methodologies, whether in-person or remote, analyzing cost/benefit ratios, adherence to training and development principles, aiming to elevate the quality and effectiveness of the training plan.
• Provide information to the Customer Excellence Directorate, Brand Teams, and the corporation to assist in the development of institutional training initiatives.
• Comply with policies and procedures related to their activities according to BEX principles.
• Understand the company's strategic business processes and act in an integrated manner with them (BEC, S&Op, demand meetings, strategic planning (plan, LRP, and 3yBP).
• Deep understanding of market dynamics and concepts in the pharmaceutical business, specifically in the markets where AbbVie’s brands operate.
