Trainee Care Assistant

ZorgSpectrum offers you the opportunity to be trained as a Care and Welfare Assistant in elderly care.
Start dates available in February or September. Note: February 2026 is fully booked, but September 2026 is still available.
Important: Currently, all BBL apprenticeship positions for the September intake are filled. You can reapply in February 2026. However, you may join us before then as preparation for your training.
What You Will Learn
Knowledge and Skills: You will be trained as a care assistant, learning daily care tasks aligned with theoretical knowledge. Quality, knowledge, and skills are our priorities!
Communication: You will learn to observe behaviors and effectively communicate with clients, caregivers, and families.
Client-Centered Care: You will learn to prioritize the needs and wishes of care recipients and collaborate with caregivers and families in providing assistance and care.
Organization: You will learn to organize care in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
Collaboration: You will learn to work effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Taking Responsibility: You will learn to take responsibility for your actions, appropriate to your training level.
Continuous Learning: What you learn will be applied in practice during day, evening, and weekend shifts, ensuring continuous learning.
What to Expect
A learning-employment contract for a minimum of 21.5 and a maximum of 32 hours per week (including 5.5 hours per lesson day).
A salary starting from €2,455.20 gross per month based on 36 hours (FWG 25), depending on experience and prior education.
Full reimbursement of your tuition and books, plus 5.5 hours paid per lesson day.
Guidance from experienced practical trainers and work supervisors.
