A trainee nurse in mental health care works with clients who have psychiatric disorders in both (closed) wards, outpatient clinics, or in the community. Throughout your training, you will rotate through different departments at GGZ Rivierduinen each academic year. This allows you to gather diverse experiences, giving you a well-rounded understanding of mental health care, making it easier to choose the best fit for you.
Collaborating within a team means sharing work experiences with colleagues. Working in mental health care demands certain personal attributes: you should be flexible, resilient under stress, independent, and possess strong reflective and interpersonal skills.
You will be employed at one of our locations in Leiden, Duin & Bollenstreek, Leidschendam, or Alphen aan den Rijn. Each year, you will switch departments, ensuring you gain comprehensive experience within mental health care.
