As the Transportation Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate all maintenance, repairs, and Capital Expense projects, ensuring that equipment and facility requirements are upheld at peak efficiency. This role entails mentoring technicians on company policies, repair functions, work orders, and data management within the maintenance software system, while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, safe workspace.

Your Responsibilities as a Transportation Maintenance Supervisor:
- Craft budgets for repairs, maintenance, supplies, third-party support, and spare parts inventory.
- Negotiate maintenance contracts and manage third-party support for transportation needs.
- Identify, prioritize, and coordinate daily activities for technicians, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Ensure team training on all technical aspects of transportation maintenance, including refrigeration and heavy-duty vehicle repairs.
- Maintain adequate staffing, training, and certification requirements.
- Utilize the computerized maintenance system 'Fleet Assistant' to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Monitor expenses by function and equipment, and provide hands-on repairs as needed.
- Manage spare parts inventory and oversee purchasing and expenses effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure operational success.
