JOB SUMMARY
Join IDR Healthcare as a Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting licensed physical therapists in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients in outpatient settings. You will manage patient records, assist in therapeutic exercises, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist licensed physical therapists in administering treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is in safe working order.
- Educate patients on treatment protocols and provide emotional support during rehabilitation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in outpatient settings is required.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
