Job Summary
Join our vibrant team at Las Vegas Petroleum in Tekonsha, MI, as a Truck Service Advisor (TSA). In this pivotal role, you will leverage your comprehensive understanding of our products and services to deliver exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include creating work orders, engaging in suggestive selling, and processing over-the-counter (OTC) transactions, ensuring every customer leaves our facility better equipped for their journey!
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a fun, trusting environment focused on exceeding customer expectations.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of our products and services to inform and assist customers.
- Employ strong suggestive selling techniques to drive revenue while maintaining high integrity.
- Accurately write, detail, and process work orders and OTC transactions, including preparing quotes and securing purchase orders.
- Source parts from external vendors and coordinate their delivery.
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and understand various payment methods.
- Ensure the safety of customers and team members at all times.
Typical Physical Demands:
As a TSA, you will regularly engage in verbal communication, and you may need to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment:
This position may expose you to outdoor elements in all seasons and various work conditions including fumes, dust, and high noise levels. Safety precautions are paramount.
