Key Qualifications for Ultrasound Technologists
· Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience following externship.
· Current RDMS certification is mandatory.
· Demonstrated professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
· Self-driven with the capability to operate independently.
· Credentialing documentation must meet Roshal, client, and state mandates.
· Current vaccinations and successful completion of required health screenings, including drug and background checks.
· Must hold a valid BLS/CPR certification.
· Capable of passing all health-related requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background verification.
Core Responsibilities
· Execute a comprehensive range of ultrasound imaging procedures, including general, OB, and vascular studies, primarily within an ER setting.
· Exhibit strong communication skills and exceptional patient care capabilities.
· Operate all technical equipment proficiently within the diagnostic modality.
· Accurately conduct and document High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures.
Physical Demands
· Ability to lift weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs, including patients, portable equipment, and positioning aids.
· Physical agility to bend, twist, and reposition as required.
· Endurance for extended periods of standing or moving as necessary.
