Join our dynamic team at Jane Street as a Unified Communications Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and managing our global voice and video infrastructure. This position falls under our broader IT department and requires you to implement innovative solutions in a high-energy environment while ensuring seamless daily operations.
The Unified Communications team is tasked with overseeing end-user setups, asset management, and all aspects of our collaboration and telephony infrastructure. Our initiatives involve refining our tools and monitoring systems, upgrading hardware in meeting rooms, and executing software and hardware configuration adjustments globally, all while minimizing service disruptions.
As a UC Engineer, you will excel at multitasking, monitoring alerts from our voice and video systems, and managing project-related responsibilities, serving as a key escalation point for users and collaborating technology teams. You will engage daily with various technology teams, including IT Operations, Cybersecurity, and Networking, to optimize capacity planning, develop best practices, and enhance documentation across our global UC framework.
