Join Big Potato as the US Trade Marketing Manager, where you'll spearhead our retail marketing initiatives across North America. Your mission will be to support and enhance our presence in six key retail sectors, while championing innovative marketing campaigns and partnerships that breathe life into Big Potato games for both players and retailers. As a vital representative of our American operations, you will shape and define our brand's voice in the US market.
Retail Support:
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to strategize, plan, and execute tailored marketing support across six pivotal retail areas in North America, ensuring each receives personalized attention and initiatives throughout the year.
- Create customized marketing support plans and toolkits for key accounts.
- Take the lead in establishing and nurturing relationships with all North American independent customers, ensuring they receive regular communication and access to essential marketing resources.
- Conduct comprehensive annual retail audits, visiting key stores to evaluate the retail landscape, assess Big Potato's in-store representation, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Assist in the organization and execution of sales-driven events, such as trade shows, to maintain a robust and consistent brand presence.
- Develop case studies to illustrate our successful engagements with various accounts and markets.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of US retail activations, utilizing insights to inform future strategies.
Campaign Support:
- Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to drive US-focused marketing campaigns during key seasons (e.g., Summer Travel, Thanksgiving) and for priority games, managing the creative vision, planning, and execution from inception to completion.
- Localize global campaign concepts for the US market to ensure messaging, visuals, and channels resonate with American players and retailers.
Partnerships:
- Identify and engage potential US brand partners that align with Big Potato’s ethos and audience, working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing as needed.
- Oversee the execution of US partnerships, acting as the primary contact and managing all activations from briefing to wrap-up.
- Manage communication with board game cafés across the US, ensuring they receive the right games, assets, and information to effectively promote Big Potato.
- Assess partnership success and provide clear insights and recommendations for future collaborations.
